Story: This song was a melody that I worked on while I was in law school (a long time ago). Lyrically, it was a song that spoke of the turmoil of a vampire’s identity (wrote after reading one of Anne Rice’s novels), having to live by killing others, but it was a broader analysis on identity and the struggle to find it. It has that feel of inner struggle and sadness. Might be pretty autobiographical of how I was feeling at the time, trying to survive law school. :)
